Aurore Besse, PhD

Aurore Besse is Scientific Project Manager at Argobio since March 2023. She worked in academic lab environment for 12 years, first as an engineer then as a PhD student. She has 10 years of experience in the field of gene therapy and therapeutic strategies development for motor neuron diseases. Prior to Argobio, Aurore worked as a project manager for 3 years at the Institute of Myology Association and in collaboration with Généthon company where she managed programs in early phase development. She has a background in cellular and molecular biology and immunology. Aurore holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Paris-Est Creteil (UPEC) and a master’s degree in molecular and Cellular Biology from Sorbonne University.
