Juliet is an investment advisor at Northern Gritstone, within the life sciences team. She currently serves as a director on the boards of Crucible & Pencil Biosciences. Juliet was previously an investment director at CMS Ventures, directing seed stage life-science investments. Prior to venture investing, Juliet co-founded Cambridge Gene Therapy, a spinout of the University of Cambridge’s Cox Laboratory, focused on preclinical development of the CAM-GM2 (AAV) therapy targeting fatal lysosomal storage diseases, Tay Sachs & Sandhoff. Prior to that, she directed corporate & business development for Oxford Biotherapeutics, an immuno-oncology company developing antibody-drug conjugates & other targeted therapies. Juliet spent the first decade of her career in the investment banking industry, as an Analyst, Associate and Vice President within the healthcare practice at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith in New York City. Juliet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Princeton University, a PhD in Medicine from the University of Cambridge & MBA from the University of Oxford.
